Maintenance of Balance, Independent Living,
Intellect, and Zest in the Elderly of Boston

Many older people have problems with memory, balance, falls and
physical functions that make it difficult for them to live independently.

The purpose of the study is to collect information that will help us
learn how older adults can maintain their health and independence longer.
The Mobilize Boston study, a major scientific grant awarded to the Institute for Aging
Research at Hebrew SeniorLife by the National Institute on Aging, is a study of 800
older adults in the Boston area.
